The 5 songs I'm listening to this week and why. 8/2/20 - 8/8/20

1. Lana Del Rey - “Love”

   Lana is my favorite. Her voice is so… “haunting” if they makes any sense. I absolutely love it. Lana Del Rey’s music sounds like memories I wish I had.

2. Git Fresh - “Tipsy” (feat. Rick Ross)

   To me, this song is classic! I had never heard of Git Fresh before but this song is a banger! With or without Rick Ross although obviously it IS better with him. I do wonder whatever happened to this group. I’ll have to check google or something haha but this song will always be a certified hit. “Tipsy off your loving and I don’t wanna be sober”. Love songs get me every time and I hope my love story is out there somewhere.

3. Quezzy2x - “Christian Dior”

   So back when Pop Smoke was blowing up with his hit song “Dior” I was looking for that song on either YouTube or Spotify and this song came up because I only knew “Dior” in the lyrics. I listened and I just loved this song! “Christian Dior on my body”. Love it and the dude can sing frfr.

4. Tones and I “Dance Monkey”

   This song is just so damn catchy! Hit songs coming from Australia. This song does, in fact, make you want to dance haha. I’m looking forward to more music from her.

5. Omega - “Si Te Vas/Que Tengo Que Hacer” (Ferranto Euro Radio Edit)

   I first heard this song in the Dominican Republic and every time I hear it I am transported back. I close my eyes and I’m on the island, in the discoteca, drunk, on the dance floor with a drink in my hand, hoping the night never ends. There’s actually a video of me hearing this song for the first time on my instagram (@Robdoesitall) in my story highlights. Just scroll until you get to the Dominican Republic one and enjoy. Shazam is my friend! lol
